Convocatòria d'una beca predoctoral en Lingüística Computacional

The Ph.D. School of the Department of Literary, Linguistic and Comparative Studies of the L'Orientale University of Naples,  invites applications for

ONE Ph.D. RESEARCHER IN NLP /COMPUTATIONAL LINGUISTICS AND APPLICATIONS IN THE HUMANITIES

This studentship focuses on a research program, specifically co-designed by the L’Orientale University and a private company, aimed at addressing specific research and innovation issues in the field of computational linguistics applied to authorship identification.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in one or several of the following areas:

  • computational linguistics
  • stylistic analysis and authorship studies 
  • digital humanities
  • languages: English and preferably also Italian 

The researchers will be located at the Department of Literary, Linguistic and Comparative Studies of the L'Orientale University of Naples (more information can be found at http://www.unior.it/index2.php?content_id=6782&content_id_start=1&titolo=dipartimento-di-studi-letterari-linguistici-e-comparati&parLingua=ENG),  and will spend approx. 12 to 18 months working with an Italian company interested in the topic and will cooperate further 6 months with a foreign university. 

Duration: three years (starting in Fall/Winter 2017).
